Overview – Email Alerts

Learn how HoneyCart’s automated order notification emails work and how to customize them.

Customer Reminder Emails 

Send two separate reminder emails to customers about their orders:

  • choose to send one, both or no reminders at all
  • decide when each email should be sent (i.e 60 mins, 48 hrs etc before delivery/pickup time)
  • customize the content of each reminder email

Text Message Alerts for Customers

HoneyCart uses Twilio to send text message alerts to your customers & staff any time an order is Received, Changed, Cancelled or Rejected.

  • customers can opt-in when they place their order, or make changes to it in their account
  • staff can opt-in to receive these alerts for “All Orders” or only orders that are “Assigned” to them.

Sign up for Twilio and buy a Twilio Phone Number to get started. You’ll be billed by Twilio based on how many texts you send.

Text Message Alerts for Staff

Let Staff receive text message any time an order is Received, Changed, Cancelled or Rejected.

Each staff can opt-in to receive these alerts for “All Orders” or only orders that are “Assigned” to them.
